Sell a board you own
Surf Trader is a verified network, so private surfers don't list boards directly. Instead, a verified local shop sells it for you on consignment.
How it works
- Pick a shop. Find a verified surf shop near you and ask if they take consignments.
- They check the board. The shop inspects it for dings, soft spots and repairs, and agrees a price with you.
- It's listed under their name. Your board goes on Surf Trader marked “Consigned · Inspected by” that shop. Your name and details stay private.
- You get paid when it sells. The shop keeps its agreed fee and pays you the rest.
Why we do it this way
Every board on Surf Trader comes from someone we've verified. Buyers get a board a shop has actually looked at, and you get a shop handling the questions, the meetups and the payment.
Fees
Each shop sets its own consignment fee. Surf Trader doesn't take a cut.
